The Non-Profit Social Care Organization "THEOFILOS", supervised by the Ministry of Labor with Decision Number: IZN 0634, was founded and operates since 2004 with Decision Number of the Athens Court of First Instance 15537/2004 and with recognition of the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity with Registration Number 09110AE13096O12N/0561.

Since 2019, the organization "Theophilos" has been under the auspices of the Holy Monastery of Chilandari with Registration No. of the Court of First Instance of Athens A.M. 434130 and the president of the organization is the Abbot Archimandrite Methodius.

Since its establishment, "THEOFILOS" has made giant leaps towards achieving its goals and objectives, and every day finds an increasing response in Greek Society.

The large family is a cornerstone of society, because it contributes significantly to the strengthening of human resources, which is required, among other things, for the continuity of the nation.

However, parents with many children make superhuman efforts to survive, educate and raise their children alone, without substantial help and support from the state.

In this struggle of large families, "THEOFILOS", for 16 years, has been trying to stand as a helper and to morally and materially support the three-child and large family. Indicatively, THEOFILOS served 250 families annually, with a total of over 800 children, aged 0 to 24 years.
